Who are we?

We are Grace, Spencer, Ian, and Monica, and we are all homeschooled or previously homeschooled students from Bellingham,WA embarking on the grand adventure called college.

We will be filling this blog with our experiences, adventures, and thoughts from the college experience.

Why the name 'Park Day Continued?'

We all met and became friends while part of a homeschool group in Bellingham that met weekly at local parks. Our weekly meetups became known as "parkday." We've each been going for varying amounts of time, anywhere from four to eleven years.

Now, only Monica is still living at home and going to parkday regularly, and so the era of parkday is closing for us. But, our homeschool community origins remain important to us. One reason to start this blog is to keep in touch with each other and with the homeschool community. This is our way of continueing parkday.

We can't hang out at a park and chat, but we can still do it here!

What will be posted here?

Expect lots of different things! Summaries of our days, stories of interesting events and encounters, quick reviews of things we're reading, and who knows what else!
